Another card using the reverse stenciling technique. The same design as before but using grey and white as colour scheme makes the card look very different.
This card I have made using the reverse stenciling technique. I have used spellbinders "bitty blossom" and tonics "trellis wall". I have used promarkers to create a stained glass window effect by backing the cut out with card and randomly colouring in the squares. I have used crafters companion 8x8 embossing folders for background.
Another xmas present completed!!! This is for my best friends' grandson who will be 7 months old at Christmas. This should keep him snuggly and warm.

This card I have made using a technique shown to me by Christine Emberson. I think she called it reverse stencilling. This is where you ink the die before cutting and embossing. It creates a different look and I'm really pleased the way this card turned out. I have used spellbinders poinsetta die and created two different looks the first is by reverse stencilling and the second is by using the rubber stamp rather than embossing. The central oval is from a die by crafters companion called ornamental oval frame. I also used the embossing folder from crafters companion which is 8 x 8 which i find very useful. The finishing touch was to add pearls in decreasing sizes.
This cracker I made using a template from craftwork cards and decorated it with art deco paper and gold glitter paper. I added some jet black beads and gold ribbon. (This one's NOT for pulling) !!

This is the Advent Frame that I made yesterday at Christine Emberson's Spellbinders Academy. I had a lovely day. I went with 3 friends and we were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Christine even supplied home made lemon cake!!!!!. She also gave some good hints and tips which i am going to try today.

I'm calendar making mad at the moment. This calendar I have made for my eldest son, who doesn't live at home anymore. Batman has always been his favourite!! I also typed out the list of all the families birthdays and anniversaries etc so there will be no excuse if he forgets!!!!!
This calendar I made for my brother and his wife. My brother does voluntary work at a wildlife sanctuary in Kent.
This card is a combination of sewing and embellishments. I did the sewing then added some flowers using spellbinders (jewel flowers and flourishes) I cut three blue and 3 pink glitter paper flowers and I flourish in pink, which i cut up and placed between the flowers.
This is an update of the calendar that I made. As you can see I have now added a pencil and also made another one using brown shades.
This is a jumper that I have knitted for my friends granddaughter for Christmas. I mixed a couple of patterns together to get this design, as i wanted a looser neckline . Although it's for Christmas it had to be in pink - her favourite colour!!!

Went to a craft day at Oyster stamps yesterday. This is what I made.
I have made this calender and message pad for my mum and dad as a little xmas gift. I have made it like a card so that it can stand alone. I thought I might try and buy a small red pencil/pen to attach as well.
I bought some cheap silver baubles and decided to decorate them with peel offs and gems. You can't see clearly the shiny baubles because of the reflection of me taking photo but they look quite effective.
I made this sweet xmas tree using a polystyrene cone covered with gold glitter paper. I then got some bags of sweets that were already wrapped and pinned to the cone. They will look good at xmas time on the coffee table. I just wonder how long they will last in my house- they might not even make it to xmas!!

This is my wreath that i have made out of red felt using spellbinders blossom die, and green felt poinsettia leaf. Using a glue gun i stuck all the flowers, then tried to randomly place onto the polystyrene circle. It took quite a lot of felt to complete and the felt is Christmas red, the photo looks more pink. I am thinking of using it on the table on Christmas day with a candle in the centre, or i could add some xmas ribbon and hang.

This card I have made for my dad's birthday in December. I used an image from google of the ship and copied it twice. Once for the background and once for decopage. i then copied image again but increased it size only slightly so that I could cut the sails out and really curl them to give a better decoupage image. The banner is from spellbinders. The lettering peel offs.
This card is for my husband Chas for our anniversary on 6th December. The background embossed areas are from the 8 x 8 embossing folders from "Diesire" - Crafters Companion sell them. I was able to slice into the bottom one and insert the top one, which i think looks quite effective. I loaded a photo of the two of us taken in Devon. I then got a photo of Rolo and using "Serif" programme was able to slot Rolo in between us before printing the image onto photo paper. I was also able to add some hearts onto photo. I then punched out some card hearts which were exactly the same colour, and stuck randomly on top. I used the cricut machine to cut out the words. I hope he likes it!!!
