Another sewn Card. This pattern is from "Erica Fortgens- Basics of embroidery on paper". I thought it was a simple but pretty pattern. I found a similar patterned paper in my stash that I used as a background. I added some lace, but as I didn't have any thin enough green ribbon I cut a strip of green paper and threaded that through the eyelets of the lace, then backed it onto blue card.
The leaves and flowers is from spellbinders "jewel flowers and flourishes". I then added a dazzler from creative expressions and a happy birthday topper from anne-marie designs. Finished off with small green gems in each corner of the card, which is 8 x 8.

This card I have made for my son's birthday in Feb. Normally I do a batman themed card, but this year I thought I would do something different. I went through some of my photos of him throughout the years and printed off a selection. I then layered different coloured paper behind each photo and stuck  green glitter paper onto the card before mounting each photo. I then added the son topper and some peel offs for happy birthday. I then took a sheet of acetate and attached over the whole card by using brads in each corner. I did this so that the photo's didn't get marked.

This card I have made using a combination of sewing, embossing and die cutting. I have used spellbinders for frame, Marianne designs for flower(which is LR0192) I cut this die out 4 times in copper, twice in light gold and twice in dark gold. I then cut off the stems and arranged the gold around the edge and layered the copper flowers together to create a new flower. I added a dazzler gem in light brown to the centre. I embossed the yellow card with Die'sire embossing folder. I added a strip of ribbon and used spellbinders tags and stamped the best wishes. The flourish die is from memory box (blooming vine). I finally added cosmic shimmer glue in copper as dots around the edge.

This card I have made for my dad to give to my mum for her birthday. Dad asked me to make a card. He left everything up to me as to the design, so I thought I would make something a little different. I got 2 pieces of A4 card and cut a heart out of the centre of one piece(having covered it in paper first) Then I scored both pieces of card to make the card stand proud. I added backing paper and heart shaped doily to the inside card. Then added a bouquet of flowers with the stems covered in ribbon and a bow added. I covered the top piece (aperture) with acetate to form a window. Then finally stuck the two sides together. The card stands about 5cm deep. I then added the topper of "wife" and sentiment that says " if you were a flower I'd pick you everytime". I added the memory box die (blooming vine) in pink to the top and bottom.  Along each side of the card I added pink and silver candy. I then made the box to put the card in. I hope Dad and Mum will be pleased with the result.

This card is made by weaving 2 co-ordinating papers together. Then I added a frame and then embossed the 2 layers. I then added decorations. Another Christmas card done for this year!!!
Again, this card as above but using co-ordinating black and white papers. Then adding pink decorations.
This card is made ready for my son's 21st birthday in April. He is an "Ace" son. I thought the two cards add up to 21 when playing cards. The background paper was done by using my scanner. I laid playing cards onto the scanner at random. Then scanned and then made into backing paper using docrafts software. With the card embellishments I was rather pleased with the results. I am thinking of making his birthday cake in the design of a Ace playing card. Look out for it in April..... although by then I might have changed my mind!!!
This card is done by using the dies from xcut- which isn't mine but a friend who cut out the shapes for me in white card. I then coloured in the bus, lamppost, post box and telephone kiosk in red using promarkers. I then layered up the background scene and added a night sky backing paper. Then added a layer of red card behind.
This card was done using spellbinders die d-lights, fantastic flourish 3. I cut it out 4 times and stuck onto silver paper to form a pattern. Then just added a flower that I created by folding 5 flat flowers into quarters. Sticking the 4 quarters onto another flat flower then added the 5th quarter into the middle of the previous 4 quarters.  I used a purple ink pad and just brushed both sides of the flower before I folded and stuck together. Once dry I added to the centre of the card.

This card I have made for my niece who will 18 in March. Yes I know I have made the card really early, but when inspiration strikes you have to act!!!
I used spellbinders dies, die'sire embossing folder, and lace. I was originally only going to use purple and cream as my colour scheme, but when I decided to add the black gems in the centre of my flowers it struck me that black was a nice contrast colour that added impact to the card. I used the cricut machine to cut out the "18th" then added some black swirls.I'm really pleased with the result. I am going to make either an envelope or a box nearer the time to go with the card in matching colours.
