Thinking ahead !!....

Morning all, well here we are back into the routine of everyday life !! If you've gone back to work now, I hope you feel refreshed from the break.  I'm a lucky girl, in that I don't have to work. Mind you now that my hubby has retired, I seem to be doing more and more !!

My youngest moved into his first home on 20th December, and I'm still trying to get used to him not being around everyday. I've said to hubby that now is a great opportunity for us to eat all the food in the cupboards, fridge and freezer, before re-stocking. Hopefully I wont have to do a big food shop for weeks LOL !!

We've also been rail-roaded into helping him (as in we do)  decorate his new home. Luckily it only needs a lick of paint in most rooms. The kitchen is having new worktops and flooring....so we'll be there for a couple of weeks.

Back to what I like best.....crafting !! I made this Easter bunny during the Christmas break. I really tried to sit and do nothing.....but I just can't !! Knitting or crocheting is my way of relaxing. It's a pattern by "knittingbypost". Easy to follow with clear instructions. This will be going away until an Easter craft fair.

I sorted through some of my patterns and put them in a pile.....with the intention of going through and knitting/crochet each thing, whether it's Easter, Christmas, Valentines day or "just because". That way I wont get bored making too many of the same theme at once and I'll build up a stock of things ready for the fairs.

Tomorrow is "MAWTT Challenge" so please pop by and see what the challenge is for this month. xx

  1. I've heard of no rest for the wicked but you take it to a whole new level!! I always start the year with ideas of things I'm going to do but unfortunately thinking and doing don't always coincide!! Very windy here and Orwell Bridge has been closed since yesterday so it is probably chaos in Ipswich. Good job I don't work there any more. Much more fun crafting xx
