Keeping in Touch.......

Morning all, just thought I would do a brief blog to let you all know what's been happening to me.

Firstly, thank you for all my birthday wishes. I had a good day, although I had to pick my son up from Heathrow Airport. He was originally due to touch down at 15:20, his flight was delayed by 45 mins. Unfortunately, by the time he had collected his bags and come through the arrivals lounge, it was nearly 5pm !!
Needless to say, the traffic was dreadful coming back home, so we didn't manage to go out for a meal before he had to drive back to Oxford.

Secondly, I went to the Hochanda show on Saturday, at Detling showground. It was the first time that I had been, and I was pleased at how spacious it was. No crushing between the aisles. It was quite busy, despite being the royal wedding. They had an area with a TV set up in case you wanted to watch.

Had the chance to chat with Christine Emberson and John Lockwood. Both are doing well and looked happy, despite having to do demo's all day!!

I didn't have a list of things that I wanted to buy, and didn't spend more than £53 - I bought A Phil Martin birthday sentiment cloud stamp, A Woodware stamp that I can add my candi and 2 Honey Doo Crafts, stamps and a die that matches one of the stamps, and finally i bought a bag of mixed bows for £1 !! My bargain for the day !!!

Haven't had a chance to play yet......but watch this space !!

Bye for now x

  1. Hi Janice it sounds like you had a great time at the craft fair. It is shame there wasn't time for a meal with your son. I can't wait to see what you make with your new goodies. Take care. Hugs Jackie
